Are Police to Blame for Russian Police Station Bombing

The Russian President, Dmitry Medvede, said the attack on the Southern Republic of Ingushetia Police station could have been prevented.  This attack killed 20 people and injured 138 more.

The reason for the uproar is that the stolen truck that was used in the bombing was reported stolen at an earlier date.  Also, police even fired shots at the truck when it was rammed into the gate, but they couldn’t get it to halt.

I think it’s going a tad far blaming the police for the attack.  But maybe they do have to be more prepared.  This could be a wake-up call.
